The first of the neutral extracts on Lighthouse, this spot isn’t a great place to get into a firefight for PMC players. This location is in a fairly dangerous position, between the nearby trainyard and ample sightlines for snipers on the road. Moving around here requires a lot of attention, particularly with the way that this location spawns rogues and snipers near the loot caches.
The north part of this area is one of the safer places to go if you’re trying to reach this extraction point. This spot is a bit farther from the radio tower, but it’s also not as densely populated with enemies as other parts of the map. It’s important to keep an eye out for campers near dilapidated houses and snipers on the road, however.
In this case, you’ll want to head east and then cut north around the mountain to find this exfil. You’ll likely come across the checkpoint CCP Temporary before reaching this spot, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find. This is probably the safest neutral extract for PMCs on the entire island, although snipers lurking in the hills should be watched.
The developed CET was successfully applied to WV imagery, enabling the development of a coastline mapping tool with a level of generalization that is significantly lower than that achieved by other tools. Additionally, the developed CET successfully overcomes spectral-induced errors on the extracted coastline. These results are encouraging, and they demonstrate the potential of the developed CET for large-scale coastal mapping applications in the future.
