Keagan’s passion is helping kids aging out of the foster system, and it was in moments of confirmation that she felt God calling her to do just that with her own business. With her husband’s full support, they began planning the idea of a coffee shop that could serve both the community and give back to those in need.
A year after opening, the Lighthouse Coffee Company is a thriving hub that attracts locals who work along the area’s main drag and tourists looking for quality coffee and food. The business’ success has even led to the expansion of a second location on Vista Boulevard. This is part of a slow but steady change that has been taking place on Haley Street, as specialty coffee shops, boutiques and restaurants have opened.
